to your Frequently Asked Questions Question: I've been using FS Repaint happily for many months. Suddenly I am getting the following error message: "The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\Windows\system32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL." What can I do to fix this? Answer: A Windows XP security update dated early April 2007 has changed the way the Active X Control "HHCTRL.OCX" is handled by Windows. This prevents FS Repaint from using a required component. The following article from the Microsoft Knowledge Base addresses this issue. Click the following link to read more information on this problem. Please follow the instructions for downloading a "patch" that correct the problem with FSRepaint: Question: NOTE: This question refers to FS Repaint purchased prior to July 2006 only. I've been using FS Repaint and find it the easiest way to create new liveries. However, suddenly FS Repaint started crashing. What might be the cause of this problem and how can I fix it? Answer: Most likely the cause is due to a video driver incompatibility for nVidia video cards. nVidia recently released new drivers in July 2006 which caused a problem with FS Repaint. To fix this problem, you'll have to download and reinstall the newest version of FS Repaint. Before doing this, start FS Repaint and copy your registration key from the splash screen (identified by S/N). You'll need to type this registration key to reinstall FS Repaint.
After downloading, run the program AbacusFSRepaint.exe to install the new version.
