to your Frequently Asked Questions
Question 1: I'm using the FS2002 version of PBY-5
Catalina but am having trouble taking off from the water? Why?
Answer: Please download and install the following
patch. This update MUST be installed to the main FS2002 folder.
This update corrects a problem and now you'll be able to take
off from the water.
Question 2: When flying the Navy 01 Classic or
the Navy 02 Classic, a flaps position indicator appears on the
panel but does not seem to respond when I click it. Why not?
Answer: This is an error since the Catalinas
do not have flaps. The update corrects this inaccuracy by replacing
the combined landing gear position/flaps poisition indicator
gauge with a single landing gear position indicator gauge. Please
see the Update below.
Question 3: The instruments on the Princesse are
not positioned on the panel properly. Can I fix this?
Answer: Yes, the update repositions the gauges
on the panel. Please see the Update
below.
Question 4: When flying the PBYs in CFS2, the guns
do not fire from the proper position. What can I do to correct
this problem?
Answer: The Navy 02 Classic is the only plane
that has armaments. The other two versions were not equipped
with weapons. The CFS2 update has damage profiles (*.dp files)
for the aircraft that add bombs and torpedoes, adjusts the gun
positions on the Navy 02 Classic and removes the weapons from
the Navy 01 Classic and Princesse Classic. Please see the Update below.

of the cockpit panel and switched for the Catalina
