- Q. What makes the Piper
Navajo so special?
A. Terry Hill, one of
the world's most respected developers, has made this new aircraft
using another of our new cutting edge products: FS
Design Studio.
When you couple
Terry's considerable design skills with FS Design Studio's new capabilities,
the results are incredible. You'll see the difference in the
details such as a fully rendered interior, transparent cockpit,
visible pilot, extra smooth lines, fully animated control surfaces
and landing gear.
This plane
is a visual site to behold. But that's not all. Terry and Jim
Rhoads have teamed up to produce an excellent flight model and
custom panel that captures the full flavor of this popular twin.
- Q. Can I fly the Piper
Navajo with Flight Simulator 98 or Combat Flight Simulator.
A. No. The Piper Navajo
uses some of the new features that are found only in Flight Simulator
2002 or FS2000.
- Q. Can I test fly the
Piper Navajo?
A. Yes, you can test
fly the Navajo now. Simply click the Download
button below to receive the full package. It's about 2.1
MB which takes only a few minutes download and install.
- Q. How long does my test
flight last?
A. You can fly the Navajo,
or any of our other Premier Collection aircraft, for up to seven
days. This will give you enough time to see if we're talking
hype or truth about our aircraft. After this trial period,
you can order a Registration Key directly from us in order to
unlock the trial expiration.
- Q. When I select the
Piper Navajo from the Aircraft menu, the Unregistered
Aircraft dialog box won't allow me to click on the Try it
for free button. Why not?
A. The seven day trial
period has expired. The trail period begins the first time you
click on the Try it for free button and continues for
seven consecutive days. After this trial period has expired,
you'll need to purchase a Registration Key to unlock the trial
expiration.

Q. When I try to select
the Piper Navajo from the Aircraft menu, a bright yellow
screen appears and I can't see the visual model of the plane.
What's wrong?
A. In order to fly any
of the Premier Collection aircraft, you'll need to have a small
program in your FS2002 \modules or FS2000 \modules folder named
'asreg01.dll'. This program keeps track of the trial period
and registration information. If this program is missing, the
bright yellow screen pops up to remind you to copy this program
to the FS2002 \ modules or FS2000 \modules folder. If you see
this message, reinstall the aircraft. |

expiration and won't have to enter the Registration Key again.
