Using EZ-GPS - Quick Guide to Making an FS Flight Plan

EZ-GPS lets you fly an Flight Simulator flight plan. Many of you are already familiar with the Flight Simulator Flight Planner. If you know how to make a flight plan, then you can skip this section. This is a step by step example of making a Flight Simulator flight plan that you can use for the Seattle to Portland flight with EZ-GPS. The plan will be for a VFR flight using low-altitude airways. |

From the main Flight Simulator menu choose: Flight | Flight Planner |

| 1. Choose Departure Location | Seattle-Tacoma Int'l (KSEA) |
| 2. Choose Destination | Portland International (KPDX) |
| 3. Choose flight plan type | VFR |
| 4. Choose routing | Low-altitude airways |
The illustration to the right shows the above entries on the Flight Planner dialog.

5. Plot flight plan To the right is the route that the Flight Planner has created. Save the route e.g. VFR Seattle-Tacoma Intl to Portland Intl.PLN |
On the above dialog click Find Route
