Click RTE to display the DEMO route. |
Click SET to select this route for EZ-GPS |
ClickWPT to display the first waypoint of the DEMO flight plan.
Click AP to activate the cockpit autopilot or internal autopilot (if your aicraft does not have an autopilot in the cockpit).

Take off from the airport, climb to about 1000 feet and click GPS. The light above GPS flashes to indicate that the AP-GPS link is activated.
Your aircraft will begin following the flight plan including any turns to stay on course. You'll notice that for efficiency, EZ-GPS starts a course change to the new waypoint heading when it is .5 nm from the current waypoint. |
| When you reach your desired cruise altitude for the demo flight, click ALT to lock in that altitude hold function of EZ-GPS. |
When you reach the end of the flight plane, you'll see that the next waypoint shows as "---". The GPS light will no longer flash indicating that you're approaching the destination. |
