Using Custom Panel Designer
If you haven't alredy done so, install Custom Panel Designer to you hard drive by following the instructions on our installation page.
Custom Panel Designer is simple to use.
You can use CPD with FS2000, FS98 and CFS installed. You tell CPD where these simulators are located by choosing File | Custom Panel Designer Properties from the menu. Click one or the other radio button.
You can set several other properties for CPD, and the CPD User's Guide has the complete description of all of the customizable features.

| Editing A Panel
When you Open a file, you're presented with a list of aircraft from the either FS2000, FS98 or CFS such as you see on the right. Choose a panel for one of the aircraft in the list and click OK. Here's an example of what you'll see:

| Moving and Sizing the Gauges
Click on the Display Gauge Bitmap speedbutton to show the image of the gauge. If your panel contains "clustered" CFS gauges, a substitute image is displayed. Click on the gauge to select it for editing. Its outline turns red. To move the gauge, grab the gauge's upper-left handle with the mouse and drag the gauge to the desired position on the panel. To resize the gauge, grab the gauge's bottom-left handle and stretch or contract it to the desired size. |
