Frequently Asked Questions Question: I flying enjoy the new Boeing 787 models. However, I can't hear the engines when flying the Boeing 787 in FSX. Why? Answer: Sorry, one of the configuration files was incorrect. Please download and reinstall Update 1 and you'll hear the 787 engines. Question: While flying the 787 at night, the cockpit is very dark. How do I turn on lights? Answer: Download and install Update 1 below. This update fixes the night light problem. Update 1 - for Fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner (required only for FSX) Download AbacusB787_FSXUpdate1.exe NOTE: Update 1 is not required if Fly the Boeing 787 Dreamliner version V1.01.0000 is installed.
To determine your version, open the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs. Click on "Fly The Boeing 787 for FSX", then click the "Click here for support information" link.
The original release of the software is version 1.00.0000 which does require Update 1.
The revised version of the software is version 1.01.0000 which already includes the changes included in Update 1 and therefore does not require additional changes.
