Frequently Asked Questions Question: How do I view the Virtual Cabin? Answer: The Virtual Cabin is available on the Airbus A380. By default, the camera position is set to the cockpit position so that you can fly. To change the view to the back of the plane, you can move the camera position
You can use the Cabin View Selector program to change the view. Download Airbus A380 Update 1 below and install it into your Flight Simulator's main folder.
Access the Cabin View Selector from the Start | Programs | Abacus Software | Airbus A380 menu. You will find more detailed information about using the Cabin View Selector in the Readme for Update 1.
Question: How can I adjust the barometer on the A380? Answer: Download and install Airbus A380 Update 1 below. This update adds a back-up altimeter to the A380 panel. This new gauge includes a barometer adjustment knob. Adjusting the knob on the backup altimeter will also adjust the barometer on the Primary Flight Display. Question: Where can I get authentic Airbus sounds for the A380? Answer: Download and install Airbus A380 Update 1 below. This update includes an authentic Airbus sounds from Aaron Swindle and Skysong Soundworks Question: Why does the FS2002 occasionally lock up when changing views? Answer:: Some of the high-end CRT-screen gauges, mainly the EICAS were not communicating with the Flight Simulator correctly when multiple copies of the gauges were in use. This issue has been corrected by an update to the high-end gauges used in the Airbus A380 included in the Airbus A380 Update 1 below.
